Monday,18th April 2016 from 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM

Due to popular demand this session is being offered for a second time.

In this session we will explore the place of cyber safety in the Australian Curriculum.  We will develop a deep understanding of how we can best enable our students to become well equipped to operate in a highly digital world.  There is a lot more to it than just traditional views of cyber safety.  We will delve deeply into one strand of the ICT General Capability: Applying social and ethical protocols and practices when using ICT.  Be ready to explore ideas like: copyright, creative commons,  Malware, popups, digital citizenships, web literacy, emotional safety, health and wellbeing, auditing and more.  This is much more than cyber safety 🙂
